The weekly U.S. crop progress report showed the corn ‘good-to-excellent’ rating remain unchanged week over week at 75% as shown in the graph below.  Corn in Dough stage now stands at 92% complete vs the 5yr average of 87% and vs last week’s 85%. Corn dented also remains in good progress at 60% vs the 5yr average of 52% and vs last week’s 40%.  The corn mature figure came out for the first time at 9% and vs the 5yr average of 11%.  U.S.corn prices dipped lower on the back of the latest crop conditions as well as on the back of a strengthening dollar
