for the week ending October 14th came in at 49,678t. Yellow maize in amount of 43,134t was sourced from Argentina whilst 6,544t of maize were bought from Mexico. The NAMC lowered their forecast for imports, in the beginning of the month, with white imports expected to reach 850,000t from the previous 1mil t and yellow maize imports expected to reach 1.85mil t from the previous 2mil t.
