South Africa imported 109,140t of maize for the 26th week ending October 28th. White maize imports were sourced from Mexico in amounts of 33,546t whilst yellow maize were imported from Argentina in amounts of 75,594t. Total cumulative imports for the current marketing year stand at 1.3mil t and vs the latest NAMC projection of 1.35mil t and vs the initial NAMC projection, in April, for the same week at 1.65mil t as shown in the line graph below
